Using the latest sawnwood technology, we are able to develop and produce a natural material which fulfils the needs of the modern timber construction industry.
The excellent static values of wood, its low weight and its impressive, aesthetic appearance have inspired architectural masterpieces and all contribute to enable such plans to be realized without complications.
The optical and material qualities of wood are among our priorities. The price is as well. That's why we always make sure that our optimized glulam is not only elegant but also extremely economical, factors which convince the customer of its superior quality.

Quality is an issue in all fields

The merger between two experienced timber companies, with the brand name SHI, has been so successful that it managed to establish itself on the market in a short period of time. The reason for this rapid success is that our customers appreciate the fact that we keep our word about delivery times, provide excellent service and of course, the very good quality of the locally-grown timber.
Quality characteristics apply to both our highly-skilled and well-trained staff and to the material itself. We obtain our wood exclusively from surrounding forests. Therefore we know exactly where our raw material comes from, plus we can guarantee that our products are of a high-quality.

You can be sure we don't use formaldehyde

Our company philosophy includes adhering to regulations concerning active environmental protection, consequently the protection of each and everyone of us. That's why formaldehyde is not used to bond or glue any of our products.
Formaldehyde is a chemical which is employed in a variety of processes, meaning that numerous everyday products contain this substance. It is frequently used in glued wood products. It can cause serious allergies and damage to the kidneys and liver if applied in specific concentrations. In order to eliminate such health hazards, we only use a formaldehyde-free polyurethane glue, an ecologically-friendly substance which can be recommended to every customer.

To guarantee the quality of our products, we are controlled by the "Otto-Graf-Institut" in Stuttgard (FMPA).
